Burned out tag light lands license-less Summerfield man behind bars

Christopher Shane Fulk

A Marion County sheriff’s deputy arrested a Summerfield man early Monday morning after spotting him driving a vehicle with no tag light.

The deputy stopped 43-year-old Christopher Shane Fulk’s green Chevy SUV in the 5000 block of SE 145th St. in Summerfield. He then made contact with Fulk, who admitted he hadn’t had a driver’s license since 2009, a sheriff’s office report states, adding that a computer check showed that Fulk had multiple suspensions, ranging from 2009 to 2017.

Fulk, who lives at 5491 SE 145th St., was taken into custody and transported to the Marion County Jail, where he was charged with knowingly driving with a suspended or revoked license. He was released Monday afternoon on $1,000 bond and doesn’t yet have a court date, jail records show.
