Too much money to put chairlifts at all pools

To the Editor:

I feel it is important for all residents to be able to use our pools, but not willing to do all pools. I think there should be designated pools marked as an option for handicap in The Villages and have a selective amount that have the lifts. To install and pay for maintenance annually for these lifts for ALL pools is a lot of money to have one in every pool. This is my thought. The residents can call the rec centers to find out where these lifts are. I agree with John Rohan.
Some folks who are swimmers that have a handicap bought their own private pool because they don’t feel comfortable being in a public environment.
