Resident of The Quarters Apartments arrested by Lady Lake police

A resident of The Quarters Apartments was arrested Sunday night by Lady Lake police.

Jamar Kenyon Short, 25, had been at the wheel of a red BMW in the area of RaceTrac on U.S. Hwy. 27/441, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

A check revealed his driver’s license has been suspended. Short has four prior convictions for driving while license suspended.

In the car with Short were Short’s children and their mother, who has obtained an order of protection against the Missouri native.

He was arrested on charges of driving while license suspended and violation of an injunction. He was booked without bond at the Lake County Jail.
