Serious need for more dining choices

To the Editor:

Our dining choices here are inexpensive, which has its own place and benefits.  Inexpensive dining choices have been well addressed and are appreciated.  Unfortunately, I have yet to find any resident that does not agree there is nowhere in the Villages were one can go to have an inspired memorable meal.  Personally, we buy Plated weekly which provides us more memorable meals than any restaurant in the area.
There is a serious need here for quality, healthy and memorable meals.  I tire of having visitors (after a day of showing them how wonderful The Villages is) ask us to take them to our favorite restaurant and then us having to apologize about our lack of quality dining choices. It is a frustration that has been expressed by so many yet continues to not be addressed.
For a demographic of over 100,000 people, most being past wanting to cook every night, it is difficult to understand why this unfortunate shortcoming continues to not be addressed.
