Villagers’ grandson wrestles his way to victory at national competition

Domenic Munaretto, the grandson of Marc and Denise Munaretto of the Village of Collier, took first place in the World of Wrestling’s Tulsa Nationals on Jan. 19 in Tulsa, Okla. wrestling in the age 12 and under – 64 lb. bracket.

This is the second year in a row Domenic took first place at this event. A total of 2,700 youth wrestlers from 43 States competed in this year’s Nationals. He was World of Wrestling’s #1 youth wrestler in his age/weight in 2018 and #15 among all youth wrestlers.
