Carlton L. Ford Sr.

Carlton L. Ford, Sr., age 61, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on his birthday.

He retired as chief custodian in the Sumter County Schools. Carlton was also a decorated member of the U.S. Marine Corp., serving in two different enlistments. He was a member of Gods Glory Ministries, Wildwood, Florida.

Carlton is survived by his loving wife Carolyn, son, Carlton Ford Jr., daughter Danielle Ford, Brother Morgie Ford, sisters, Cynthia and Vonda Ford, Seven Grandchildren.

Local Memorial services will be held Friday, February 1, 6 p.m., at Wildwood United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, at the Jerusalem Missionary Church, 1715 18th Ave, St Petersburg, Florida 33712. Interment will be held at a later date in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
