Man behaving suspiciously arrested at Spanish Spring Town Square

A man who was behaving suspiciously was arrested at Spanish Spring Town Square.

Lady Lake police were dispatched at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday to the area of Main Street and Del Mar Drive after a man was spotted walking around the closed businesses at the square. The man, identified as 31-year-old Clay Bryant Johnson, of Fort Myers, said he was “trying to find his way home,” according to an arrest report.

A check revealed Johnson was wanted on a Collier County warrant charging him with violating his probation in connection with a drunk driving arrest.

He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $2,000 bond.
