Michigan snowbird reports car burglarized while parked at her home in The Villages

A Michigan snowbird reported her car was burglarized while it was parked at her home in The Villages.

The 75-year-old Detroit area woman said her 2015 Chrysler Town & Country van with Michigan plates had been parked Tuesday night at her home in the Hacienda Villas when the burglary occurred, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

A cosmetics bag, $50 in cash and a small blue zippered holder containing gift cards were removed from the vehicle.
