Villager scores first local hole-in-one after five years in Florida’s Friendliest Hometown

“Another beautiful day in The Villages.” Does it get any better than a hole-in-one?

Villager Wes Brooks scored his fifth overall hole-in-one on the eighth hole of the Okeechobee Executive Golf Course.

Wes Brooks, playing with his pals Ron, Will and Jim, carded a hole-in-one on the Okeechobee Executive Golf Course’s 134-yard eighth hole using a softly pitched seven iron.

This was Brooks’ first hole-in-one in The Villages after playing for the past five years. He has four lifetime holes-in-one.
