To the Editor:
Although I feel John McCain was a patriot and deserves admiration for his service and time spent as a POW, I don’t believe he was a great senator. He appeared to be self serving and looked out for himself. He overstayed his time as a senator and straddled the fence too many times when he could have
helped the people that elected him to make America a better place to live. I was sorry to see him demean himself in the last years of his life. He should have retired about 10 years sooner.
