The annual scramble raises money to award scholarships to high school students that participate in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. During Thursday’s event, JROTC students from Umatilla High School were on hand to help with various duties around the course.

In addition to benefiting local high school JROTC programs, the money raised is also donated to programs like Operation Helping Hand, Support The Troops and Athena House.
