Marion County firefighters battle fully-involved truck fire in Summerfield

Marion County Fire Rescue crews responded to a vehicle fire in Summerfield on Tuesday afternoon.

Crews from Marion County Fire Rescue’s Belleview Station #18 battle a pickup truck fire in Summerfield on Tuesday afternoon.

Units from Belleview Station #18 responded to the incident on SE 135th Lane that was reported by a 911 caller as a pickup truck pulling a trailer on fire.

When crews arrived, they found the pickup fully involved in flames. They quickly brought the fire under control and all other incoming units were canceled.

There were no injuries in the blaze, which remains under investigation.
