King Trump’s lack of knowledge

To the Editor:

Here we go again . . . Venezuela . . . Oil, perhaps?  Is Trump getting ready to spend what we don’t actually have, to prop up some form of stability in Venezuela?  We have spent billions in the Middle East, and what do we have to show for it?  An unending war in Afghanistan, and Irac still not stable.  A couple of weeks ago Trump  was taking away aid to the Central American countries, because their people are flooding our southern border.
I have no suggestion as to what is best for Venezuela, but I do offer a suggestion as to how to slow the tide of invading families from Central America, fleeing instability in their governments.  We call ourselves a “Christian Nation” but one conflicting view of this, is a picture of what separates two beaches, in San Diego, California. And from San Diego and southeast all the way to the Gulf of Mexico, are scenes of what separates two religious nations.
This nation has been involved in many conflicts since World War II, causing loss of life to thousands of our young men and women, in conflicts that were started by politicians who didn’t know how to end a conflict, once they get involved in it.
But with Central America, and Mexico, The solution could possibly be an easy one, with the possibility of the elimination of any fences or walls.  I have mentioned this before, and I still believe, that if Mexico and ALL of the Central American countries were invited to join our Union, We could reap the benefits of many places to visit, in warm climates, and those people, instead of invading our border, could, when financially able start visiting the rest of the USA as tourists.
Sure, it would require billions in aid to modernize infrastructures, but we have spent billions in the Middle East, and we are still there.  Should the Central American countries ever have stability in government, this could encourage industry to invest.  Now you say “But that is taking jobs away from us!”
Stability and advancement in modern ways on one side, could still be a fair trade for the other side.
This is not Trump’s fault, but as he loves to brag about himself, this would be a wonderful opportunity for him to do a good deed.
