How can we fight cost of Recreation News?

To the Editor:

I would like to know why the Recreation News is being paid for out of our amenity fees.
The Daily Sun is owned by the Developer and everything in this paper benefits the Developer. This includes the Rec News. This cost should come out of the cost of the paper. What other newspaper charges residents for their content? It is paid for in the price of the paper.
If they need $800k to cover this, then raise the price of the paper to cover this. Isn’t this what advertising is for as well?
I object to paying for something that does not seem like a legitimate cost coming from our fees. It has also been up for discussion that this supplement does not need to be in the paper every week. How can we fight this?
