Trampling on residents’ concerns

To the Editor:

Just what in the bloody hell is going on in this community?
A property owner is allowed with impunity to erect an architectural monstrosity in a residential neighborhood in Tall Trees, in spite of the bitter complaints from residents whose property values will be affected and which residents are being ignored by the authorities while the owner plays games dodging a hearing and permitting (instructing?) his attorney to go for delays and continuances on flimsy excuses until the construction can be completed.
Of course, then it’s too late.
Contrast that with another story in the same morning edition of Villages-News.com, ordering a homeowner to remove a tiny, white cross from his front lawn or shrubs or be subject to a fine.
Has this community “leadership” gone totally crazy or what?
Or whose back is being scratched?
