Growth of The Villages taking its toll on rest of Sumter County

To the Editor:

We’re having problems with ALL the growth.
Every time I leave my home, I have to get out onto Highway 301 which is getting almost impossible weekdays.
My BIG question to the Morse family, who is going to pay for my car that gets just beat up and sandblasted? My windshield is cracked because of dump trucks throwing rocks. Matter of fact, driving with family visiting, the same thing happened to them. Almost in the exact spot on their windshield.
So OK, I get progress. But this is going to be for several more years!!!  I’m sure responses will be, don’t go out on the highway. Impossible. I have to travel these roads. I am saddened that my county has let this happen, without seeing the effects that ALL of this is having!
