An Oakleaf Apartments woman was arrested after two trips to the self checkout lane at Target at Rolling Acres Plaza.

Kristina Marie Knatz, 32, was arrested at 8 a.m. Saturday at her Lady Lake apartment on two charges of theft.

She was caught on video surveillance on May 9 in the self checkout lane when she failed to scan a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of cleaning supply. The items had a value of $10.98, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

She returned to Target the following day and took a pricetag off a bed comforter that had been marked down to clearance and put it on another comforter which was not on clearance. She also took a bottle of Spark Hidrate and put it in her purse. She went to the self-checkout lane and scanned the fraudulent pricetag she had attached to the comforter. The Spark Hidrate bottle, valued at $45, remained in her purse and was not scanned.

Knatz was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,000 bond.

Knatz had previously been arrested on a charge of theft in 2010.
