Villager victim of fraud at Swedish-founded home accessories business

A 63-year-old Villager called a Marion County sheriff’s deputy for help Sunday after realizing he’d been the victim of fraud.

The man said he spotted the issue when checking his Experian credit report and noticed that the account was opened on April 1 and closed on May 12. The account had a balance but the amount was redacted from the report.
