We need parades in The Villages

To the Editor:

The Developer has created an almost perfect spot in the United States that we all can be proud of.
EXCEPT for no patriot parades. The parades that we have now, celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Italy, St. Patrick’s Day and maybe a few that my memory can’t recall.
My concern is, Where is the Memorial Day parade? Where is the 4th of July parade? and Where is the Labor Day parade? I for one, would like to see a return to the parades that I grew up with.
I want to see flag-waving patriots lining the streets. I want to see the nations colors leading these Parades.
