Donald E. Venturini Sr.

Donald E. Venturini Sr. of The Villages, FL passed away on May 24th, 2019 surrounded by his family.

Don was born to Anthony L. and Josephine E. (Antero) Venturini in Morristown, NJ. He graduated from Montoursville High School. He proudly served in the US Army from 1966-1968. After being discharged from the Army, he graduated from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Apprentice Program. He worked as a welder with Local  520.

He was a long time resident of Muncy, Pa before retiring in The Villages, FL.

Don is survived by his wife, Sharon (Smith) of 49 years son Don Venturini and his wife Rena, daughter Kristine Ebersole and her husband Craig, grandchildren Nicholas and Curtis Venturini, Leo and Clara Ebersole. His sister Barbara DiTeresa, brother Joel Venturini and his wife Kim and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronald A. Venturini. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone.

Don enjoyed hunting, golfing and watching baseball. He was a member of the church St. Vincent de Paul and the American Legion post 347 along with many other social clubs in The Villages, FL. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.

Visitation with the family is scheduled for Thursday May 30, 2019 4:00 – 6:00PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral & Cremation Life Center, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, Florida. Funeral will be held on Friday May 31, 2019 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5323 E CR 462, Wildwood. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave., Bushnell, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
