The Project Wide Advisory Committee has approved a $71.814 million amenity budget that includes a 3 percent increase for the coming fiscal year.
The budget reflects an increase of $2.233 million due to additional professional services, janitorial services, and repair and maintenance services.
Janitorial services have been ramped up after PWAC member and Community Development District 10 Chairman Don Wiley visited all of the postal stations and swimming pools, where he photographed cobwebs, dirt and rust. In light of Wiley’s effort, PWAC opted to spend more to beef up the level of service.
PWAC’s recommendation on the budget now goes to the Sumter Landing Community Development District Board, which will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 6 at the District Office.
