William Peltonen

Bill Peltonen died peacefully after a short illness with lung disease.

Bill was born and raised in Ironwood, Michigan. Bill worked for 30 years as the Accounting Manager for the Riverway Barge Company in Edina, Minnesota. He met his wife Cathy at a “Touch of Class” dance in Minnesota on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2003. They were married in January, 2006 and moved to The Villages. Bill loved golfing with his friends twice a week.

He is survived by his wife Cathy; son Richard; stepchildren Chris, Kevin and Tiffany and seven grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 17th at 11 AM at Hope Lutheran Church in The Villages with Pastor Jon-Marc MacLean officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM at the church.
