The Villages Philharmonic Orchestra (VPO) and Temple Shalom of Central Florida are preparing to present a series of summer concerts.

The concerts highlight performances from select VPO performers under the direction of Maestro Pasquale Valerio in a smaller, more intimate atmosphere. The June concert is titled “VPO Soloists Around The World,” the July concert is “Broadway” and the August event is a “Patriotic Summer Salute with Songs from the Great American Songbook.”

To purchase/reserve tickets, call (352) 748-1800. Tickets are $18 for temple members and $20 for the public. Limited tickets may be available the night of the performances.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. on the night of the shows and performances start promptly at 7 p.m. Temple Shalom is located at 13653 County Road 101 in Oxford and is golf cart accessible to The Villages.

The Friends of The Villages Philharmonic Orchestra will have a table to greet members and answer any questions on the upcoming VPO season. Proceeds from the Concerts benefit the VPO and Temple Shalom.
