A Village of Chatham resident has announced his resignation from the Community Development District 4 Board of Supervisors.
Chuck Kazlo is leaving the CDD 4 Board after 12 years of service.
“It’s time to step down. I really tried hard to do whatever I could to help the residents,” the 79-year-old said.
CDD 4 Chairman Jim Murphy, also a longtime member of the board, said he had a “sad heart” at hearing of Kazlo’s decision to step down.
The board will seek applicants interested in appointment to fill the vacancy. The term runs through 2020.
