Margaret Cox

In loving memory of Margaret June Cox, born November 16, 1937, in Marquette, Michigan, who passed away on June 19, 2019 in The Villages, Florida. She was born to parents William George and Gladys Czykoski.

Margaret attended high school in San Diego, California. She met the love of her life, Allen Cox, in San Diego where they married in 1966. They lived in California, South Carolina, Illinois and for the past 18 years in Lady Lake, FL.

Preceding her in death are her parents and brother Jerry Czykoski.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Allen Cox, a US Navy veteran of 21 years. Also surviving are three children, Peggy Chabrian (Jerry) of Daytona Beach, FL; Linda Russell of Marysville, WA; and Teresa Sassaman (Steve) of Arlington, TX.

Also surviving are five grandchildren: Julie McCann (Sean); Jenny DiGregory (Nick); Paul Sassaman (Dinithi); Peter Sassaman (Tracy); and Sarah Sassaman.

A memorial service will be held at Beyers Funeral Home in Lady Lake, Florida on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at 1:00 p.m.
