Unwanted suitor jailed after allegedly stalking Oxford woman

Brandon Willman

An unwanted suitor was jailed after allegedly stalking an Oxford woman.

The woman contacted law enforcement after 26-year-old Brandon Willman, of Weirsdale, was parked in his truck outside her home for a long period of time, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

She told deputies she has been trying for months to get away from Willman. She provided phone records showing Willman’s persistent calls and text messages. She also provided videos that showed heated exchanges with Willman in which he used threatening language.

Willman was taken into custody this past Sunday on a charge of aggravated stalking. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $2,000 bond.
