Brand-new Villager’s loaner golf cart snatched from Spanish Springs restaurant

A brand-new Villager’s loaner golf cart was snatched from a Spanish Springs restaurant.

Manuel Duallo, who recently moved from Pennsylvania to a home in the Village of Alhambra, went to The Villages Golf Cars to pick out a new ride for his new lifestyle in Florida’s Friendliest Hometown. He was given a loaner while the final details were finished on his new golf cart.

He went out to dinner Saturday night at Ruby Tuesday at Spanish Springs.

“Within 10 minutes I realized I had left the keys in the golf cart,” Duallo said.

He went outside, and to his horror, the golf cart was gone.

The 2017 Yamaha golf cart is blue with a white top and cream-colored seats. The number 7941 is on the front. The cart is valued at $6,500, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
