Technical director at The Sharon reports theft from his vehicle

The technical director at The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center has reported the theft of property from his vehicle.

Clayton John Becker, 28, who lives at The Quarters Apartments in Lady Lake, parked his silver 2008 Chevy Silverado pickup between 3 and 8:34 p.m. Monday at The Sharon at Spanish Springs Town Square. When he came out, he discovered that two kayaks had been stolen from his pickup truck, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

Both were Pelican kayaks. One of them is green and white and the other is blue and white.

A knife was used to cut the kayaks loose, the report indicated.
