To the Editor:
I must admit that I am no longer surprised by The Donald’s public exhibitions of his morbid ignorance. By the same token, I think he has reached new heights (or depths) in displaying that morbid ignorance with his recent tweets directed to the four freshmen Democratic women of color in the U.S. House of Representatives.
They apparently had the unmitigated gall to criticize him and his policies and, not surprisingly, he responded with his incoherent tweets. He suggested that all 4 of them go back to the “…broken and crime infested places from which they came.”
Let’s see what “broken and crime infested places” was he talking about. In the case of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (a native-born American citizen), that would mean that s**thole known as The Bronx, the same birthplace as The Donald himself. As for Rep. Ayanna Pressley (another native-born American citizen), that would mean returning to that s**thole known as the State of Massachusetts. And for Rep. Rashida Tlaib (another native-born American citizen), that would mean returning to that s**thole known as the State of Michigan (Go Blue, incidentally). And as for Rep. Ilhan Omar, while she was born in Somalia, she is a naturalized American citizen (as was “me sainted mother”) who has lived most of her life in that s**thole known as the State of Minnesota. As I say, each time I think The Donald has attained the zenith of his ignorance, he out does himself with his next incoherent and unintelligible tweet.
