To the Editor:
In response to Libby Scobell, I remind her that our country was founded so that its inhabitants would have religious freedom.
In fact, since our currency proudly states “In God we Trust” ( which I assume is even more offensive to her than the little white crosses) I would be most happy to relieve her of any in her possession in order to alleviate the discomfort it causes her.
It would be accepted with gratitude at any of the many community – serving houses of worship which are filled to capacity each week in The Villages.
