A Village of Belvedere woman was jailed after allegedly egging a man’s house.

The man contacted law enforcement on Friday to report that someone had been throwing eggs at the front door of his home in The Villages.

Security footage from the man’s doorbell camera showed a woman walking up to the front door with an egg in her hand, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. She could be seen in the video breaking and smearing the egg on the outside of the door. The homeowner was able to identify the woman as 61-year-old Dolores Ann Lezott, who lives at 413 Rose Croft Terrace.

A deputy went to Lezott’s home and arrested her on a charge of criminal mischief. She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $500 bond.

In 2017, Lezott had been arrested after she was kicked out of Dunkin Donuts at Southern Trace Plaza. She was allowed to enter into a pre-trial intervention program, thus avoiding prosecution.
