Little white crosses

To the Editor:

It amazes me that the folks, whose lives are so disrupted by the white crosses, are not on a rampage during the various holiday seasons.
Homes, including lawns, are outlined with lights, artificial trees secured to the lawn, and OMG, inflatables.
Why are these not reported? This type of reporting complaints should not be seasonal.  To make matters worse, all the committees, district supervisors, and The Villages Daily Sun recommend streets to see as worthwhile and joyful.  Isn’t that in direct conflict of lawn ornamentation? Maybe it is not the reporting system that needs to be changed, but rather the covenants.
