A resident of The Villages was arrested after allegedly posting a threatening message on Facebook.

Eric Blom, 50, allegedly posted “I AM going to kill my par” on Thursday night on Facebook, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The post concerned family members who had seen it. He later sent a text message in which he promised to “exact my justice on you.”

The New York native was arrested on a charge of intimidation. He was also charged with violation of his probation. He was booked without bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
