John George Wilson

John George Wilson, 86, of Fruitland Park, passed away on Friday, Aug. 23 in The Villages. Mr. Wilson was born in Arnold, Pa. and came to Fruitland Park in 1995. He was a retired U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corp career serviceman serving in the Korean and Viet Nam wars.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife Audrey Ann Wilson (11-01-2018). He is survived by his daughter Janet Seat, Leesburg, FL; son Richard Wilson, Douglas, Ga.; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, September 2, 2019 at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lady Lake at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
