Lady Lake police nab woman with syringes in her vehicle

Kassandra Hardin

Lady Lake police arrested a woman driving on a suspended license who had syringes in her vehicle.

Kassandra Kay Hardin, 32, of Leesburg, had been driving a tan Nissan four-door on Sunday morning on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 at Oak Hill Road when an officer ran the license plate number and discovered the expired plate belonged on a Dodge truck, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. A check revealed her Florida license had been suspended. She also had a Tennessee driver’s license which had been suspended in 2014.

A box found in the vehicle contained plastic baggies with a brown residue, two spoons and a syringe. A  bag found in the trunk contained another syringe.
