Villagers and other area residents can remember victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks in two local ceremonies.

Congressman Daniel Webster will speak at 10 a.m. Wednesday at a ceremony at The Villages Public Safety Station 44. Wreaths will be place at the 9/11 memorial.

The FDNY 343 Memorial Club will hold a  ceremony at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mark the Evangelist Church in Summerfield. The names of first responders and others who died on Sept. 11 will be read.
