Unconstitutional trade

To the Editor:

SIGN OF THE TIMES:
I have new neighbors from the Syracuse, N.Y. area. They were dairy famers. They had to sell their land, etc, since New York City, a customer of theirs, was getting milk from Russia instead of them.
The WTO has made a mess of business and thus our society in this country. Milk all the way from Russia was cheaper? I doubt it since it needs to be refrigerated, shipped a great distance, etc.
Mostly likely it had to be a trade agreement to get Russians to join the WTO for promised jobs. Everyone else profits on our previous products, services, technology, markets, etc. but us. We get to go to war, pay and die for it. Call centers in India, milk from Russia, almost everything from China, Vietnam, oranges from S. Africa, etc. These jobs and products of ours which are now theirs is not bringing them out of their poverty since they work for slave wages. Only the few profit.
We have to get out of the WTO and NAFTA. At one time, America produced almost everything we needed ourselves. Even our military secrets of technology and weapons are outsourced to Dubai (Halliburton), China, etc. We aren’t deciding what we will grow, sell, etc. We can’t even grow oranges in Florida? Milk cows in NY State?
Trade is all done without our knowledge and consent. They make the rules not us.
The World Trade Organization (WTO) and North American Trade Agreement (NAFTA) meet behind closed doors. We have no idea who decides what or even if there are American representatives involved in trade decisions. Trade is usually equal. I will give you this or that and you will give me something. It is not “free trade” but one sided. We always lose in the deal.
Both these trade organizations are unconstitutional since Congress controls trade with consent from their constituents back home.
Congress and presidents committed treason against the American people allowing people outside our control to decide our future. Trade for the profit of the few is being used to destroy our economy and democracy.
