Woman who goes drinking at town square ‘forgets’ her wallet

A woman who went drinking at a town square in The Villages told police she lost her wallet after forgetting about it.

The 52-year-old Summerfield woman went to Spanish Springs Town Square on Sept. 11 and contacted law enforcement the next day to report her lost wallet, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

She told police that she “had too much to drink that night.” She said she lost her white wallet with brown trim that contained her driver’s license, Social Security card, bank card, Food Stamp card and about $30 cash, the report said.

She cancelled her bank card and reported her missing card to the Social Security administration.
