To the Editor:
I was involved years ago when a focus group was formed to discuss the issue, and later as a member of the AAC that discussed the subject. The AAC voted to establish a number of rules, but having veto power, the SLCDD allowed only one of them to be established.
It had a reasonable effect but it was not enough. Now PWAC has that veto power and it is questionable whether they favor the residents or the Developer.
It might move our authorities to face the issue and re-examine it if thousands of residents wrote as I am doing. Therefore, I urge that you do so.
