Amenity fees were promised to include visiting family and friends

To the Editor:

I would guess that the vast majority of guest uses of recreational facilities are from out of the area.  In our neighborhood the only guests are family and friends staying for a few days. What does allowing our grandkids  to use the pool going to hurt? Additional costs to the AAC?  Fair? We pay amenity fees that were promised to include our visiting family and friends.
We usually have several couples interested in our lifestyle staying with us during the course of a year. What message does that send to prospective residents? They are here to check out our community. Are we really “Florida’s Friendliest Community”?
