Competency evaluation ordered for Villager who allegedly egged neighbor’s house

Dolores Ann Lezott

A competency evaluation has been ordered for a Village of Belvedere woman who was jailed in August after allegedly egging her neighbors’ house.

Judge Paul Militello on Thursday ordered an expert evaluation of 62-year-old Dolores Ann Lezott, who lives at 413 Rose Croft Terrace.

She was arrested Aug. 9 on a charge of criminal mischief after she was caught on video smearing an egg on the outside door of her neighbors’ home on Canterbury Court.

At the time of her arrest, Lezott complained that the couple who lives there had been “mean” to her. She said she egged the home to “get back” at them.

Lezott has entered a plea of not guilty in the case.

In 2017, Lezott had been arrested after she was kicked out of Dunkin Donuts at Southern Trace Plaza. She was allowed to enter into a pre-trial intervention program, thus avoiding prosecution.
