Wildwood police bust Louisiana couple with cereal bars coated with THC oil

Cherie Godwin

Wildwood police apprehended a Louisiana couple with more than 1,000 grams of cereal bars coated with THC oil.

Cherie Godwin, 24, of Denham Springs, La., had been driving a silver passenger car with Louisiana plates at 2:15 a.m. Monday when she failed to stop when pulling onto U.S. 301 from the parking lot of a Sunoco station, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

Godwin was “extremely nervous and her pupils were dilated and unresponsive to drastic changes in light,” according to the arrest report. Godwin admitted she was high on LSD.

A K-9 alerted on the vehicle and Godwin was asked if there were any narcotics in the vehicle.

“I can show you,” she responded.
