To the Editor:
It is too bad that you are taking away the fun and joy that has been experienced at the squares for the tree lighting. It is one thing to pay for entertainment at Savannah Center, The Sharon and the other places that are used for special entertainment, but the Christmas tree lighting should not be charged by anyone. You will turn off people that way. New York City does not ask for payment to see their Christmas tree lighting or their Thanksgiving day parade, why should you?!
