Villager declared ‘incompetent to proceed’ in case of egging neighbor’s home

Dolores Lezott

A Villager has been declared “incompetent to proceed” in a criminal case in which she has been accused of egging her neighbor’s home.

Dolores Ann Lezott, 62, last week in Sumter County Court, was found incompetent to proceed in a case in which she has been charged with criminal mischief. She was arrested in August

Earlier this month it was announced that Lezott will not face prosecution in the theft of flowers in October from the bench near the postal station in the Village of Belvedere.

In 2017, Lezott had been arrested after she was kicked out of Dunkin’ Donuts at Southern Trace Plaza. She was allowed to enter into a pre-trial intervention program, thus avoiding prosecution.
