Not being a Villages resident but being a neighbor and friend of The Villages community, I read all the protests about the VIP event.
I am now delighted to read the outcome as well. I cannot add any further comment on the outrageous and ridiculous decisions of the Developer on offering an event like this either. What I will say is in the future, they need to hire a marketing and public relations professional, who can give them some candid insight into such naive ideas.
Nobody hates a “Scrooge” more than a Villager.
