Wasting tax dollars wishing on the moon

To the Editor:

A driver of mine told me a story about the space program pen. They spent $$$$ billions on research on a space ink pen.
The Russians use a pencil.
Our space program to go back to the moon and for Mars will cost billions. We can’t sustain life in either place.
Do you think our priorities of cronyism and wasting tax dollars should be addressed? Our highways and bridges are falling apart since Reagan’s time, etc. We wanted our infrastructure repaired. Today in 2019, it is still needing attention.
