Yamaha golf cart snatched from Villages Golf Cars facility

A Yamaha golf cart has reportedly been snatched from a Villages Golf Cars facility.

The 2018 Yamaha two-seater was stolen sometime between Nov. 27 and this past Monday from the Villages Golf Cars facility at 601 Hoopfer Way, off Rolling Acres Road, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

The golf cart that was stolen from the facility is red with tan seats. It has a Villages Golf Cars badge on the front window. The golf cart is valued at $6,500.

The theft of the golf cart was reported Monday morning.

The Villages Golf Cars has sales, service and rental outlets at Lake Sumter Landing, Colony Plaza, Brownwood, Fenney and La Plaza Grande West in Spanish Springs.
