Ernest Labossiere

Ernest Edmond Labossiere, 87, passed from this life Monday, December 9, 2019. Born in Ludlow, MA he was the son of the late Ernest J. and Ida (Gamache) Labossiere and predeceased by his first wife Jeannine Dupuis.

Ernest was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Springfield, MA. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and served aboard the Navy destroyer USS Robert A. Owens (DD827).

Ernest enjoyed a 30 year career with the former New England Telephone Co. and retired as a manager. He was a resident of West Brookfield for several years.

Ernest and his wife, Doris moved to The Villages from West Brookfield in 1989. He enjoyed golf and traveling. He and Doris traveled extensively in their motor home throughout the country visiting most states and state capitals.

Ernest leaves his beloved wife of 35 years, Doris E. (Buzzell) Labossiere; daughters; Susan Draper (Mikuel); Diane Cali (Michael); Linda Garneau (William); Michelle Labossiere-Hall (Scott); step-daughters; Roxanne Duval, Pattianne Mitchell, Charlene Lincoln; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
