Jacob Anthony Pontiff was arrested by Leesburg Police detectives on Feb. 6 and charged with murder (not premeditated during a felony) for the death of 18-year-old Isaiah Terrell Walters, who was gunned down Jan. 29 at Berry Park in the Carver Heights area. Pontiff also has been charged with attempting to sell cannabis/amphetamine and is being held on $50,000 bond in the Lake County Jail. He’s scheduled to appear in court on March 2 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charges.
