The traits Of Trump

Hugo Buchanan

Last week on fake news, our lord and master reminded us all that he has not taken one penny of his annual salary, and “no one seems to appreciate that.” (Come to think of it, that’s probably the only truth he has ever spoken).  Trump is really depressed these days;  Not about the virus, but the fact that he cannot hold any rallies, and can’t visit (or best not to visit) his mar a lago estate in Florida, and his golf game is getting rusty, and he’s really gonna have to cheat to get his handicap back to par.

He thought he would try another gig with religion, wanting the virus to disappear by Easter. Give us a break, Donald J, you are no more religious than I am. . . . Just another Trump-toasted idea to get his popularity out of the freezer. (Actually, parts of his popularity is headed for the garbage disposal.)

I would hope that his “base” has begun to see the light of day about this goon, but that is doubtful. I cannot figure it out, how they all cling to his lies and bullishness, as he speaks his golden words of greatness. They were not swayed away one bit with Trump’s reported disregard for this virus as far back as January.

Trump attacked the CDC over coronavirus preparedness, yet he eliminated the office that was dedicated to pandemic prevention, because that was from Obama  and anything Obama had to be abolished.

VP Pence was calling all the governors to discuss efforts to slow this virus, and Trump instructed the VP not to call Washington Gov. Jay Inslee and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, (“That woman in Michigan”) as both Dems had been critical of the White House’s actions to combat this deadly virus. (He who has no praise to ponder shall not be called from the big White House up yonder.)

And with closing of this Op-Ed, seems to me that Trump should find out what day of the week the White House has garbage pick-up, throw his bully bat in the garbage, and learn to be bi-partisan with this pandemic. Let’s not forget, his first reaction of the virus news, was to consider it a Dem hoax.  As he tucks himself into bed tonight, he will probably chuckle a bit about his bullying to that CNN lady reporter.
